About Thomas Oden

Thomas Oden was a renowned theologian and scholar who dedicated his later years to uncovering Africa’s vital role in shaping Christian thought.

His work, How Africa Shaped the Christian Mind, laid the foundation for the Center for Early African Christianity, inspiring a new generation of research and dialogue.
